A Note From Tam Singer

Hello Great Plains SPCA Family!

After a very busy September and October, we were pleased with the lovely turn out for our ‘Fall Back In Love with Great Plains SPCA’ event on Sunday, November 3rd at our Merriam campus. This was a family focused fun event, and we appreciate everyone who came and to all those who adopted one of our shelter pets. Seeing so many families enjoying the bounce house for kids, face painting, food truck, and of course the Adoption special made our day! A very big thanks to Officer Arnold, Marx and JD with Shawnee Police Department K9 Unit for demonstrating their life-saving work.

As the Holiday season is upon us, I wanted to share my gratitude to each of you who makes our mission possible, whether it be through volunteering, fostering, donating or adopting. Your support is critical to our success and we are eternally grateful.

This December, we will be launching our ‘Home for the Holidays’ match campaign, where we hope to find homes for all our shelter pets. Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, all donations will be matched up to $150,000.

My door is always open, and I love to hear your thoughts ideas and feedback; please don’t hesitate to reach out anytime.

Wishing you a very happy holiday.

Thank you,

Tam Singer CEO, Great Plains SPCA
