There are so many ways to help the thousands of homeless pets that visit Great Plains SPCA each year – we couldn’t do it without you! Many people think we are a chapter of the ASPCA, but we are a local, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping local pets. We rely on local dollars to help local pets and the families by their side. We are proud to be named a 3-Star Charity by Charity Navigator. To schedule a tour to see our lifesaving operation in action, please call (913) 808-3316.

Additional ways to give...
Poppy Medical Memorial Fund
The Poppy Medical Memorial Fund was started in 2015 to honor a very special dog who came to Great Plains SPCA’s Veterinary Care Center after being hit by a train. Poppy’s injuries were severe, and it was only through the support of the community that she was able to receive lifesaving surgery and loving care.
Despite receiving the best care possible, Poppy’s injuries proved to be too extensive for her to recover and live a quality life. Our staff held her close in their arms as she crossed the Rainbow Bridge and never will we forget the imprint she left of our hearts. Her legacy lives on through the Poppy Medical Memorial Fund.
Donations to this fund will enable us to provide emergency medical treatment to future pets in crisis who need us… pets just like Poppy. Will you be a Hero?
Generous donors who join our “Paw it Forward” Monthly Giving program are truly Heroes for pets. This program is simple for the donor yet makes a big impact on our ability to help needy animals. By authorizing a monthly deduction from a checking account or credit card, you can set up your donation at the beginning of the year and then be worry-free.
Join Our “Paw it Forward” Monthly Giving Program. We appreciate monthly gifts of any size! For more information, please contact our Development team at (913) 808-3316 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
