Shelters are filling up all across the country, including ours. But that doesn’t mean we will stop helping animals in need, even the extra large ones.
We recently took in two 130 pound Mastiff brothers, Whisky and Tango, who were recently abandoned. Found by Animal Control, they were left in a backyard after the owner moved houses, leaving them to starve and fend for themselves.
Luckily, we were able to make space for them and realized quickly these two are bonded, which makes sense after the trauma they have been through together. These big boys are a bit anxious and will need lots of love and care during their stay with us, but that’s exactly what we are here for.
