These two pregnant chihuahuas were rescued from a house fire in a home with over 80 chihuahuas. Through Great Plains SPCA, these sweet girls are now safe in loving Foster homes.
Irene is 12 years old and just gave birth to her puppies. Sheila is 8 years old and pregnant, due to give birth any day. While we’re certain this was not either of their first litters, we are glad it will be their last, and that they will get to raise their babies in the comfort of a Foster home.
These sweet mothers need your help NOW. Without hesitation, we brought them in and found caring Foster homes where they could tend to their babies in safety.
Our shelter is currently at capacity, with more animals coming in every day. Please help us care for pets like these chihuahuas who are in urgent need.
