Neonatal kitten with severe facial injuries rushed to Great Plains SPCA

A tiny kitten, only days old and with severe facial injuries was rushed to Great Plains SPCA to receive emergency medical attention. This poor little kitty arrived with a degloved jawbone (the skin on his jaw was totally torn away) and several wounds on his nose and mouth. He was immediately seen by our Shelter Medical team to treat his injuries. He is now recuperating in a Foster home with his littermate where their Foster mom feeds them kitten formula from a bottle because they are so young.

Every spring and summer, hundreds of kittens make their way to Great Plains SPCA for medical care, Foster homes and ultimately to help them find their forever homes. Your support makes lifesaving care possible for pets in need like this guy.
