Our HERO Team committed to taking in a litter of 10 five-day-old puppies whose mom had to have emergency surgery and was unable to produce milk for the puppies. Several of our incredibly dedicated Foster families came forward to care for them.
Stepping up to foster puppies this young takes serious dedication. These babies must be fed every few hours, including the middle of the night. They must also be taught how to pee and poop! Then they spend eight weeks in the Foster home until they are old enough to be spayed or neutered.
Our Foster families are nothing short of extraordinary and truly saved these puppies’ lives. While fostering is a big commitment, the reward of watching animals grow up, thrive and start their new lives is immeasurable.
Your donations mean these little lives could be given a second chance.
