Can you help Angus?

Angus needs to get out of the shelter NOW! He is in desperate need of a Foster home with a dog savvy family committed to working with our Behavior Team to ensure his success in the home.

Angus is a two-year-old Great Pyrenese/mix who was originally adopted out from our shelter as a puppy.

Angus is one of those dogs that is just a little misunderstood. At first glance, he can be slow to trust new people, but underneath he is a gentle, constant companion. He enjoys simply knowing his person is nearby.

Angus is food motivated and willing to learn whatever you would like to teach him. He walks very well on leash and enjoys leisurely walks at your side. He loves to throw his toys around and is happy to entertain himself.

Angus needs:

  • A dog savvy foster willing to work with our Behavior Team
  • A quiet, low visitor traffic home
  • A home with humans 16 and up
  • A home without small animals

Can you or someone you know help Angus? Please share Angus’ story on social or contact behaviorteam@greatplainsspca.org if you think you might be a good fit for Angus.
