Meet Our New Leadership!

Kelly Chamberlain: President, Chief Operating Officer

Nate Meador: President, Chief Development and Marketing Officer

We are excited to announce our leadership partners at Great Plains SPCA!  The board has decided to implement two presidential roles with a defined focus to strategically grow the organization and serve the Greater Kansas City communities.  This partnership is between Kelly Chamberlain and Nate Meador.

Kelly is a true Kansas City girl at heart. She was born and raised in the area and graduated from Baker University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. From there, Kelly worked in multiple executive positions overseeing areas such as Business Operations, Professional Services, Client Services and Account Management.  In her spare time, Kelly enjoys time with her family.  Her house is full of rescue pets.  She has four dogs, Kemper, Kauffman, Jackson, Millie and a rescue rabbit, Winnie.  Kelly is focused on business operations for the organization.

Nate grew up in Arkansas and moved to the metro from Southern California in 2011, and lives in Parkville, Missouri.  Nate has provided many rescue animals a forever home, including a race horse Bill and currently, his dog Arctic.  Nate’s career as a development and marketing professional started in broadcasting and then led to education.  Nate brings diverse knowledge and experience from hosting and producing radio shows to School Director for private post-secondary educational programs, Marketing Director for a U.S. school franchise, and Executive Coach working with leadership teams in for-profit and non-profit organizations across the nation.  Nate is focused on the development and marketing of the organization.
